Community Capacity Building Program (CCB)

 

CCB funding is available to not-for-profit economic development organizations including regional economic development associations, municipalities, industry/sector groups, educational institutions, and any other community-based organizations involved in economic development.  It offers capacity building modules, planning sessions, and industry development sessions to interested stakeholders with a clear link to economic and business development.

 

Their areas of focus to help you with are:

  • Relationship Building

  • Organizational Skills & Management

  • Co-operative Development

Consultant Advisory Services (CAS)

 

CAS provides financial support to avail of Consultant Advisory Services to small and medium-sized businesses and not-for-profit organizations in Atlantic Canada. Funding is offered by ACOA with CBDCs handling the administration and counselling involved. Eligible activities include and aren't limited to:

  • Business Management Development Practices

  • Market Readiness/Export Potential

  • Business Plan Mentoring

  • Business Valuation

  • Aftercare/Mentoring and Follow-Up

  • And More

Business Navigators

​

Business Navigators will provide a one-on-one, personalized service for inquiries relating to establishing and/or operating businesses in Newfoundland and Labrador. They connect businesses with resources and information to ensure they most effectively get the answers they need. By utilizing a network of key departments, businesses will receive personalized guidance and support for inquiries about operating and growing a business.

Metro Business Opportunities (MBO)

 

Metro Business Opportunities is dedicated to the development of Business and Social Enterprise in St. John's and Mount Pearl. Through advisory, lending, and training programs, MBO's knowledgeable team helps potential and existing entrepreneurs of all ages with idea generation, business start-up, and successful growth.
